I think that what you said was actually very logical. But, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content isn't solid, but suppose you added something that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and note how they create post titles to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to get people interested about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
