I believe what you said was actually very reasonable. But, what about this? what if you added a little content? I am not suggesting your information is not solid, however suppose you added a title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda boring. You should glance at Yahoo's front page and see how they create article titles to get viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
