I think what you wrote made a ton of sense. However, what about this? suppose you wrote a catchier title? I ain't saying your information isn't solid., but what if you added a post title to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and note how they write news titles to get viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a pic or two to get people interested about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it might bring your blog a little bit more interesting.
